Complete Tutorial how to custom your Realme C11/ C12/ C15 (Mediatek) Using Nusantara OS and other custom ROM.

Things You should Know

  • Use at your own risk! I am not responsible for your actions
  • Take IMEI Backup !! Store backup on pc/sdcard (nvram, nvdata, nvcfcg)
  • Realme C11, C12, C15 share the same hardware, using MediaTek Helio G35
  • Tested and work for Realme C11 (RMX2185) Realme C12 (RMX2189) Realme C15 (RMX2180)
  • Make sure u are in the stock rom realme version 1.0 Helio G35
  • This tutorial can also be applied to other custom ROM
  • Support Android 10, 11, 12, 12L


Update 2026

AS for 2025 you cannot do official unlock bootloader, so when have to to do unofficial. What you use free tools such as mtkclient or paid tools such Unlock Tools. 
 
You must have SDcard for this steps 
For this example we are going to use Crdroid Android  11. You need Download A.95 ozip and Twrp-3.6.0-rui1.img save two file into SD Card or OTG. Make sure your on Realme UI 1 
  • Boot into tools
  • Backup nvdata, boot, lk
  • Bypass UBL
  • patch lk.bin and flash into the partition (to activate fastboot)
  • adb reboot bootloader
  • fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.6.0_11-RMX2185-UI1-20220104
  • fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
  •  Fastboot reboot recovery
  •  Wipe data, cache, dalvik
  •  Select A.95 ozip rom and select there “Skip treble compatibility” option. 
  • Flash Twrp-3.6.0-rui1.img to select Recovery options.
  •  Flash custom ROM (RUI1 based)
  • Flash gapps (bitgapps work) 
  • Again go to wipe section and type “yes” to format data and swipe
  • Flash this vbmeta.img to select vbmeta option
  • Reboot sytem

 Unbrick without full flash

If you got brick simply flash the orignal lk.img and recovery.img it will boot into recovry after that format data and you good to go

The video tutorial is using Nusantara OS, if you use other custom ROM just replace the Nusantara OS with other custom ROM

Unlock Bootloader

  • Install DeepTesting
  • Select In Depth Test, wait untill approved
  • reboot bootloader (select the indeep test menu)
  • fastboot flashing unlock
  • Choose Unlock
  • fastboot reboot

Flash custom recovery & vbmeta & Custom ROM

  • fastboot -w
  • fastboot erase userdata
  • fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
  • fastboot flash recovery filename.img
  • fastboot reboot bootloader
  • fastboot reboot recovery
  • backup nvram , nvdata, nfcfg
  • format data
  • reboot recovery
  • wipe dalvik data cache
  • flash custom ROM
  • reboot recovery
  • flash gapps + magisk (optional)
