Step by step guide and review how to custom your Redmi Note 9/ Redmi 10X 4G using Nusantara OS 4 Android 12. Merlinx is = Redmi Note 9/ Redmi 10X 4G (mediatek)

This tutorial show you how to flash using Q vendor, but a also provided file for R vendor



There is 3 type of Custom ROM.

  • Q vendor
    Based on merlin_id_global_images_V12.0.1.0.QJOIDXM
    example custom ROM = Nusantara Android 10
  • R Vendor
    Based on merlin_id_global_images_V12.5.4.0.RJOIDXM
    example custom ROM = Nusantara Android 11/12, Pixel Android 12/13
  • S Vendor
    Recommended firmware is V13.0.1.0.SJOMIXM
    Custom ROM = Pixel Android 13

All of them used diferent custom Recovery

Prerequisite

  • Use at your own risk! I am not responsible for your actions
  • Backup EFS & Modem (nvram , nvdata, nfcfg)!
  • Make sure u’r using the right firmware and right custom recovery!
  • Do unlock bootloader first
  • Flash firmware update if needed

I'm using this custom rom. It very smooth, no lag, no heat. Recomended! I know this is not official, but its better than the official one. The official feel hot
Make sure you using MIUI V12.5.4.0 (global or indo) as a based firmare (R Vendor) And Merlinx pixel recovery (check bellow), dont use the recovery from the custom rom you cannot flash gapps.

  • Use merlinx_recovery_vendor_R_S not recovery on rom
  • flash V12.5.4.0.RJOMIXM
  • boot into fastboot
  • fastboot flash recovery merlinx_recovery_vendor_R_S
  • fastboot reboot recovery
  • adb sideload rom.zip
  • adb sideload bitgapps.zip
  • wipe cache data
  • format data
  • reboot
  • extract boot.img from rom.zip
  • patch boot
  • reboot bootloader
  • flash boot

  • fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
  • fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
  • fastboot reboot then press vol up + power
  • Format Data
  • reboot recovery

  • backup EFS & Modem
