Howo To Repair IMEI On Xiaomi Phone (Mediatek)

Use case, you loose IMEI/ Baseband because failed to custom ROM or force to unlock bootloader on chinese rom. Tested on Redmi 9A, Note 9 Mediatek

Prerequisite

• Use at your own risk! I am not responsible for your actions
• Make sure backup Nnvdata for precaution
• Install mediatek, libUSB and USBdk driver
• Some model neeed you to unlock the bootloader

File Needed 

• Qcom MTK Driver
• adb_fastboot_r33.0.3-windows
• usbDK
• LibUSB
• Unlock Tool (paid)

Steps Fix IMEI

Make sure your on  ROM and allready on the unlock bootloader

• UT > Mediatek > xiaomi v1
• repair IMEI > MTK Generic 4G
•  wait until it finish
•  restart

Fix IMEI Using UT

Example : Redmi 9A

• boot into UT
• backup ndata
• Erase NV
• Restore Nvdata & nvdram ONLY from the same model (cert)

• Unlock bootloader (if needed)
• Reboot into recovery > format (if needed)
• done

Fix IMEI Using DFT PRO

Some phone like Redmi Note 9 merlin cannot fix using UT, so we have to use this tools

• Turn off phone
• Select xiaomi tab
• Select phone model
• select IMEI repair
• Inset IMEI A & B
• Press and hold vol up + down > plug USB
• backup nvdata
• done
